Want to create a note in Yammer?

You can use 'Notes' with content such as images and files with additional information. When you are creating a note you can use the button to mention a colleague, the button to link to a web page, the button to link to a document or image in Yammer or the button to link to an existing note. Using the buttons to edit, email or delete a 'note', you can modify the already created note. Given below are the steps to create a new 'Note':

  • On your SharePoint page, click on Yammer from the bar on the top and enter your password if required
  • Or you can open the Yammer link directly on your browser
  • Click on the (...) ellipses, present at the top right of the page adjacent to the search box
  • Choose Files from the drop down
  • Click on create 'Note' present on the right of the tabs
  • First enter the title of the note
  • Then you can enter in the information for your note in the Rich text editor
  • When you are done click on Publish

    1. If you have created a note, open it and on the right top side you will see links to edit, email and delete the note.
